No. 39

Jenny McWhinney's "Der Fleurs pour Grandmere" (Flowers for Grandmother) is a beautiful cloth book which can be stored in a matching library bag. The book features two mice - Monet and his Grandmother embroidered primarily in Gumnut Yarns stranded silk 'STARS' and perlé silk 'BUDS'.

Jenny McWhinney's 'Market Day' blanket features Mr Pip and Milly - two field mice returning from market with their supply of fruit. The blanket uses Gumnut Yarns hand-dyed 1-ply fine wool 'DAISIES'.

Susan O'Connor uses only Gumnut Yarns 2-ply crewel wool 'BLOSSOMS' on pure wool fabric to create a beautiful baby's quilt with shadow-worked wreath with bullion roses.

Vol. 14 No. 9

This blanket, designed and embroidered by Bev Tully, features a wool embroidered mother and baby elephant in the jungle. The blanket uses Gumnut Yarns crewel wool 'BLOSSOMS' and fine wool 'DAISIES'.

Vol. 10 No. 2

'Ted the Carpenter is busy in his work shed sawing and painting!' This cute blanket is designed and stitched by Jenny McWhinney using primarily Gumnut Yarns hand-dyed 1-ply fine wool 'DAISIES', 2-ply crewel wool 'BLOSSOMS' and perlé silk 'BUDS'. Yet another sample of Jenny's creative and whimsical talent.

Jenny McWhinney's whimsical character Prickles the hedgehog sits in a flower garden deciding if "She loves me...She loves me not". This beautiful wool blanket is embroidered using Gumnut Yarns stranded silk 'STARS' and perlé silk 'BUDS'.

Helan Pearce again creates a fantastic blanket. This time for the younger member of the family - using both Gumnut Yarns silk and wool threads, to create "Teddy in a Window".
