Perlé silk 'BUDS', stranded silk 'STARS' and 2-ply crewel wool 'BLOSSOMS' and 'GEMSTONES' are also used to give a life-like texture and appearance to this fantastic project.

Three cheeky little monkeys swing along a curling vine on this cute and cuddly baby blanket'. Designed by Jan Kerton the main 'ingredients' are Jan's velour monkeys. One of the few threads used is Gumnut Yarns silk/wool 'POPPIES' - 645, as the curling vine.

Designed by Heather Scott, the centre of this small throw features a panel of brightly coloured embroidered flowers. Wild roses, forget-me-nots and daisies - to name but a few incorporate Gumnut Yarns stranded silk 'STARS'.
