Jan was inspired by the natural world around her - most noticeably the wildflowers and cottage blooms around her home in Frankston, Victoria. Creating many cheerful, colourful and intricate embroideries - most notably blankets, were one of Jan's pleasures. These were a joy for her many students to recreate over the years - they make life sing and shine.
